What Age Should You Move To A Senior Living Community?

Posted by Twin Towers on January 15, 2019

Couple taking photographs- What Are Should I Move into Senior Living Community BlogThere's no perfect age to move into a community but rather a perfect time based on how you want to live and what you want to do in your retirement years. Traveling, volunteering, returning to school, consulting are just some of the activities being pursued by retirees, and they want to live where they will have the freedom to do those things.

Some people decide to downsize to a smaller home or condo, ridding themselves of yard work. But others head straight to a community choosing to rid themselves of not only yard work but home maintenance, repair and taxes as well.

In addition many communities now resemble five-star hotels and are loaded with services and amenities so people want to move in when they are independent and active so they can take advantage of the services and lifestyle.

Age Range at Twin Towers

People are surprised to learn our residents range in age from a 57-year-old career woman to a resident who is 104. Choosing where you want to live should be more about the lifestyle you want to live.

And since age was mentioned, we should bring up that we do have 20-year-old college students living in a few of our patio homes.

At Twin Towers, we partnered with College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati to create the Artists-in-Residence Program. In exchange for the housing, the student musicians design and deliver monthly performances for us.

Age is only a number. At Twin Towers, choosing to live here is not about age, but about the lifestyle you want to live.

We invite you to visit our campus here at Twin Towers Senior Living Community in Cincinnati, Ohio. Tour our apartment homes and spacious single-family patio homes and experience what a day is like at Twin Towers.
